Real Prevent Ronaldo's Chelsea Visit

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reported to have prevented Brazilian striker Ronaldo from attending Chelsea's home game against Liverpool last night, according to a newspaper report.

It is claimed the trip was purely a social visit for the superstar, although it has also reignited reports he is Roman Abramovich's wish-list.

Ronaldo was making the trip with his agent Marc Roger, the man who orchestrated Claude Makelele's move away from Real Madrid, and according to reports could be offered £125,000-a-week to sign for Chelsea.
