Real Ordered To Pay Inter £7 Million

Inter have won the long standing row with Real Madrid over Santiago Solari and the Spaniards must now pay Inter £7 million.

The Merengues signed Ronaldo for £23 million plus the Argentine or £7 million cash last year, but the latter never agreed terms with the Italian club.

Real argued that the Nerazzurri made the deal fall through on purpose, and had refused to pay the £7 million they owed.

The matter went to FIFA arbitration and Inter have apparently won the case, although an official statement will not be made until next week.
