Real offer Japan friendly

Real Madrid have offered to play a friendly against the Japanese national side in the build-up to next year's World Cup finals.

The World Cup co-hosts are to due pay a visit to Europe before the start of the finals next summer, and are already scheduled to play two matches.

However, Madrid have offered to provide opposition in a third, but may prefer a trip to Japan in order to profit from the vast marketing possibilities of such a visit.

Real are already trying to organise an exhibition match in Saudi Arabia on August 1 before they travel to Egypt to play the country's champions Al-Ahly a week later.
