Real Make Offer For Edmilson

According to reports out of Spain, European champions Real Madrid have made an official offer for Olympique Lyon's Brazilian World Cup hero Edmilson.

The exact value of Real's alleged bid is unknown, though OL value the attack-minded centre-back – who is also on the wishlist of FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich - at £19 million.

Earlier this month, Edmilson, 26, handed in a transfer request and identified Madrid as his preferred destination. Lyon, in turn, insisted that the Spanish superclub had never formally approached them with an offer, and at the same time informed the player and the media that they had rejected several offers from English and Italian clubs.
