Real Madrid youngster receives praise from midfield superstar: “Can do many things we can’t”

As Real Madrid gear up to return from the international break, one player fans will be looking forward to watching is Arda Guler.

The young Turk is poised to make his debut in the coming weeks, having made a lot of strides in his path to recovery. The player has been struggling with an injury throughout the course of the season so far.

As Guler looks to make his Real Madrid debut, the youngster has received praise from none other than Toni Kroos.

Indeed, the former Germany international has spoken highly of the 18-year-old wonderkid even as fans wait to get a glimpse of the young talent in the royal white of Real Madrid.

"Arda Güler is only 18 years old, but he can do many things that we cannot do," Kroos said.

The German’s comments on Guler are hardly surprising, as he is one of the big admirers of the Turkish international.

This comes on the back of earlier reports that claimed Kroos is mentoring Guler and playing a key role in the youngster’s development at Real Madrid.

Earlier this week, a report had come out suggesting that Guler is back in group training, but requires some rhythm before getting back to the pitch.

However, earlier today, it was claimed that Guler is unlikely to be rushed for the match against Sevilla or the next two clashes against SC Braga and Barcelona.

Instead, the 18-year-old is likely to make his first-team debut for Real Madrid in early November.

One would expect Kroos to work with Guler closely, as he gets back on his feet and makes his first appearance as a Real Madrid player in the coming weeks.
