Real Madrid won't sell Roberto Carlos to Chelsea

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists Roberto Carlos will not be sold to Chelsea.

The Blues are ready to offer £20 million for the 31 year-old, but Perez rapped: "He has got a year left on his contract with Real Madrid and he is going to fulfil it."

But Carlos has complained that the club are treating him as a commodity rather than a player.

Perez added that Real had not yet made the player an official offer and criticised the defender for trying to use the media to bargain with the club.
