Real Madrid won't sack Campos - Perez

Real Madrid will not sack assistant coach Paulo Campos after his criticisms of midfielder Guti last week.
 
Campos' comments appeared in the Sunday press and he was ordered to apologise to Guti by coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo only hours before Real's 2-2 draw with Real Sociedad.

"Campos will continue working with us," said Real president Florentino Perez yesterday. "I know there was a problem with Guti."

"They have talked about it amongst themselves and it is a subject that has been solved. He is not sacked, but he will be sanctioned by the internal authority."
