Real Madrid won't give up on Man Utd, Chelsea target Adu

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is keeping tabs on DC United striker Freddy Adu.

If Perez wins Real's next election he will explore the possibility of signing the 14 year-old whiz-kid.

Adu admitted this year that "it would be an honour to sign for Real Madrid" and his profile is expected to soar after the 2006 World Cup.

The Ghanaian-born youngster's DC United deal is for six years, but if Perez decides to bring him to Spain, then MLS will find it difficult to resist Real's spending power.
