Real Madrid winger Canales explains Valencia decision

Real Madrid midfielder Sergio Canales is delighted with his move to Valencia.

Canales has signed on-loan for Valencia with the view to a permanent deal.

"I always had the option of Valencia in mind," said the midfielder. "Since they called, I wanted to go there."

"I'll think first of the U20 World Cup and then focus on that. Valencia is a good place for any player, not only for young people. I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity to continue in the elite of football."
