Real Madrid Winger Angel Di Maria: I Want To Win Everything This Season

Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria remains confident that they can win the treble this season.

Los Blancos are in the running for La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League, and Di Maria believes that they have the quality to win all three competitions.

"We want to win it all this year and we regard every game as a final in order to succeed in La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League," the Argentina international enthused to Spanish daily AS.

The 22-year-old went on to analyse his performances for Madrid so far this campaign.

"I knew it would be difficult to be a starter when I signed because the team has very important players, but hard work and great effort has paid off."

"I've always been an attacking player that moves closer to the goal, but we all know we have to pressurise on this team. I try to do this in order to be closer to my opponents and to never forget I must help out in defence."

"I think I've improved on a tactical and defensive level with the coach. I defend more than I used to and move better on the pitch. He always shows confidence in me and only asked in return that I proved to him I wanted to be a starter. That's what I'm doing."

"Everyone dreams about winning the Ballon d'Or, and so do I. You have to make a long list of nominees first and I haven't been on it yet. I will continue to work hard in order to do things well."
