Real Madrid wing-back Marcelo admits struggling against physical Levante

Marcelo admits Real Madrid struggled to handle Levante's physical style for Sunday's shock defeat.

Levante defeated Real 1-0 in the shock of the season so far.

"We talked all week not to play the game of Levante," said Marcelo. "They are heavy-handed and do not want to play football. We were not ready and we did not play our game."

"We lost a game we knew was going to be complicated. We were not good enough. I admit we did not play well."
