Real Madrid willing to wait for Arsenal skipper Vieira

Real Madrid are willing to wait 12 months to sign Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira on a Bosman transfer.

The French ace is still to put pen to paper on a new contract at Highbury, with his current deal having just 12 months to run.

Arsenal have reportedly put a £25 million price-tag on Vieira, which has already frightened off Juventus.

The Daily Star says Real are confident they can to sign Vieira to play alongside David Beckham next year.
