Real Madrid willing to sell Diarra to Tottenham

Real Madrid are willing to sell Lassana Diarra to Tottenham.

The Mirror says Real Madrid want Spurs to come back to the negotiating table for midfielder Diarra.

The Spanish Cup holders have so far rebuffed offers for the France ­international, 26, because they have fallen short of their £18million asking price.

But Real now want to recoup some of the £27m they spent earlier this week in landing full-back Fabio Coentrao from Benfica.

With two years left on his contract, Diarra is keen for first-team football and has also been linked with Manchester United.
