Real Madrid will sign Robinho for £12M

Real Madrid remain confident they have a deal in place for Santos dazzler Robinho.
 
The Brazilian's form in recent months has attracted serious interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Inter Milan, but Real are confident they will sign Robinho during the summer market.

Real president Florentino Perez is understood to have a verbal commitment from Santos counterpart Marcelo Texeira that Robinho will be sold to the Spanish giants for £12 million once their Copa Liberatores campaign is over.

There are some concerns at Real that Texeira may go back on his commitment and seek a bigger fee given Robinho's stunning form in the last months, but Perez is convinced the Brazilians will keep their word.

Apart from the European interest, a Brazilian investment group have also emerged willing to cough up big to fund a new deal for Robinho to keep him at Santos.
