Real Madrid will offer £3.5M for Osasuna's Garcia

Real Madrid will make an opening offer of £3.5 million for Osasuna midfielder Pablo Garcia next week.
 
The Uruguay international is set to become Real's first summer capture and negotiations will accelerate when Garcia's agent, Paco Casal, jets into Spain next week.

Osasuna president Patxi Izco is seeking closer to £7 million, but the deal is unlikely to come unstuck as the clubs enjoy a good relationship.

Uruguay teammate Carlos Diogo, of River Plate, is expected to follow Garcia to Madrid when he comes off contract in July.
