Real Madrid will not alter plans for teenage sensation despite Kylian Mbappe’s imminent arrival

Real Madrid have their future secure in the hands of Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham and others. The impending arrival of Kylian Mbappe will only further their case in the final third.

The one party that seemingly does not benefit from the Frenchman’s arrival, unsurprisingly, is Endrick. The Palmeiras gem is expected to link up with the first team this summer, but Mbappe’s arrival potentially limits his minutes at the club.

Florentino Perez closed the 17-year-old sensation’s signing for a sum of €72 million last season, and sees the Brazilian to be one for the long haul.

Real Madrid’s plan with the player was to slowly incorporate him at the highest level, as they did with Vinicius and Rodrygo, as revealed by SPORT.

Mbappe’s arrival directly threatens Endrick’s role in the team, for he would not be a regular in the team.

In fact, Palmeiras have identified the same and have enquired if they can keep the player until the end of 2024 so as to mutually benefit all parties, but Real Madrid have shot it down.

From Real Madrid’s point of view, however, Endrick continues to be a critical cog for next season. They do see the problem, but Carlo Ancelotti is convinced that he can make it work.

As revealed by SPORT, not only have Real Madrid ruled out a return to Palmeiras in any capacity, but they have closed the doors to a loan exit despite enquiries from La Liga clubs.

A decision will be made in the winter window of the 2024-25 campaign after evaluating the player’s situation. As it stands, Endrick will arrive in Madrid this summer and will travel for pre-season with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
