Real Madrid will be good for Robinho - Luxemburgo

Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo wasn't publicly backing away yesterday from hopes of having Robinho as part of his squad next season.
 
Real are at loggerheads with the Brazilian's club, Santos, over a fee for the winger - and the player, himself, has hinted he could take his case to FIFA if the situation isn't resolved.

Luxemburgo, who brought Robinho through at Santos, declared: "I want to bring Robinho to my team because he is very direct and technical. At the moment there is nothing completed, but I believe that there is no dishonesty in my interest."

"Madrid made a firm offer to Santos, and Marcelo Teixeira can accept it or not, but what is clear is that I have not spoken with anybody, nor have I had anything to do with these negotiations."

"Yes it is true that he would work with a trainer who already knows his characteristics, and that would be ideal for him."
