Real Madrid whiz Juanfran snubs Liverpool for new deal

Real Madrid whiz-kid Juanfran has resisted an approach from Liverpool to sign a new contract.

The Spanish U21 international is regarded as the pick of the latest batch of youngsters coming through the Real 'B' team and attracted interest from Liverpool and Getafe this season.

Juanfran's new deal keeps him at Real until 2008 and he said: "That Real Madrid values my work is satisfying for any player of my age. I am very happy because this has always been my club."
