A member of Real Madrid’s coaching staff has traveled to Rennes several times in order to watch 21-year-old right-back Anthony Reveillere, according to Rennes general director Gerard Lefillatre, but los merengues have not yet made an official offer for the player.

Reveillere is a French under-21 International, and Real aren’t the only big-name club keeping an eye on him.
"English clubs have also come to see him, Arsenal among them," said Lefillatre, who added that Rennes had recently rejected a $7 million offer for the player from an unnamed club.
Real Madrid tried in vain to sign a right-back during the close-season, but they were unable to reach transfer agreements for Inter Milan’s Argentine international Javier Zanetti or Deportivo La Coruna’s Spanish international Manuel Pablo.
