Real Madrid are monitoring the progress of Bayern Munich defender Breno.

The 21 year-old Brazilian has recovered from long-term injury and impressed since making his comeback in November.

Radio Cadena Ser says his progress has alerted the attention of Real, who have followed him since before he joined Bayern.

Real GM Jorge Valdano has Breno under consideration for the summer market.
