Real Madrid want Man Utd answer on Figo

Real Madrid are to ask Manchester United whether they are interested in Luis Figo becoming part of David Beckham's transfer.

The Telegraph says while Beckham isn't due back in Manchester for another week, Real want an indication from United whether they will accept taking Figo in part-exchange.

The Spanish giants are offering 31 year-old Figo, plus a cash supplement, to United for Beckham.

With talks in the early stages, Real want an answer from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson over his interest in Figo.

Ferguson will also seek an assurance from Real about their apparent interest in Paris Saint Germain's Ronaldinho.
