Real Madrid want Arsenal's Sol to follow Vieira

Real Madrid are keen to take Sol Campbell, along with Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira, before the summer transfer window closes.

The News of the World says Campbell is dismayed the Premiership champions want him to take a massive pay cut to stay and knows he is wanted by the Spanish giants and Juventus.

The Gunners have already lost their fight to stop Vieira joining Real, despite manager Arsene Wenger holding crisis talks with his skipper in Austria yesterday.

A Real insider confirmed: "Of course we would love Patrick to convince Sol to join us."
