Real Madrid wait on Panathinaikos fullback Seitaridis

Real Madrid could complete the signing of Panathinaikos fullback Giorgis Seitaridis this week.

Though an agreement exists between Panathinaikos and Porto over a £2.5 million deal for the Greek international, no contracts have been signed.

Real president Florentino Perez has asked Seitaridis' agent for proof in writing that the player has not struck a deal with Porto over personal terms.

Seitaridis' agent, Pashalis Papadopoulos, has indicated that everything is above board, so leaving the way clear for Real to trump Porto and sign the right-sided defender.
