Real Madrid vice-president Butragueno: I offered my resignation

Real Madrid vice-president Emilio Butragueno has revealed he offered his resignation in February.

Butragueno said: "When Florentino Perez resigned the presidency on the 27th of February, I put my future in the hands of the Board of directors. The president, Fernando Martín, asked me to continue.

"Look, this is my home. I am a Madridista in my heart. Fernando Martin has asked me to help until the end of the season and this is what I will do."
