Real Madrid trainer: I've followed Beckham since 17

Real Madrid trainer Vicente del Bosque has revealed he's been following David Beckham's progress at Manchester United since he was 17.

Beckham is again being linked with a summer move to the Spanish giants after impressing as a substitute in Wednesday night's Champions League clash.

Del Bosque told AS, "I have followed Beckham since he was 17 years old and he seems to me to be an incredible player with an enormous technical quality."

"He is an extraordinary player and nobody doubts that."

"It did not surprise me what he did in the half-hour that he was on the field."
