Real Madrid to trump Porto for Seitaridis

Real Madrid are set to trump Porto for Panathinaikos fullback Gourkas Seitaridis.

The Greek international has stalled on a proposed move to Porto after learning of Real's interest.

Porto had agreed a fee with Panathinaikos of around £2.5 million during the European Championships, but the interest of Real has moved the goal posts.

The 22 year-old's parents were wined and dined by Porto president Jorge Nino da Costa last week, but Seitaridis won't be influenced no matter how well his family were treated. If Real come knocking, the Greek will have no hesitation in signing for the European giants.
