Real Madrid to splash out on Everton's Gravesen

Real Madrid are set to make a shock £2 million offer for Everton midfielder Thomas Gravesen.

The Danish international is off contract in the summer and also attracting interest from AC Milan and Manchester United.

Gravesen has flirted with Spanish football before, with Atletico Madrid coming close to signing him at the start of the season.

Real general manager Arrigo Sacchi regards bringing in a new midfielder during the January market as a priority and hopes a £2 million bid for Gravesen will be enough for Everton to cash in.
