Real Madrid to pounce as Malaga set Calatayud clause

Malaga are close to sealing an agreement with goalkeeper Juan Calatayud over a new contract.

The deal will keep Calatayud at Malaga until 2008, with both parties now close to agreeing to a £6 million buyout clause.

Real Madrid are expected to move for Calatayud at the end of the season, with the young shot-stopper being lined up as a replacement for Caesar.
