Real Madrid to offer players for Arsenal's Cesc

Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon is prepared to offer players in his bid for Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Marca today says Calderon held talks with Cesc's agent, Joseba Diaz, during Real's Champions League clash last week against Bayern Munich.

Calderon informed Diaz that he was determined to bring Cesc back to Spain at the end of this season and if the Gunners were unwilling to consider a player swap, would be prepared to offer £25 million for the youngster.

Only yesterday, Cesc insisted he was happy at Arsenal and that his representatives had not had contact with Real about next season.
