Real Madrid to offer Arsenal first refusal on Beckham

Real Madrid are prepared to hand first refusal on David Beckham to Arsenal.

The News of the World says Real will agree to give the Gunners first option on the England captain if they accept their bid for midfielder Patrick Vieira.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen on Beckham and is sure to have been alerted to Real's offer.
