Real Madrid to make short-term offer to Chelsea fullback Cole

Real Madrid are keen to tempt Ashley Cole away from Chelsea.

The Sunday Express says Cole, 33, is wanted by Real manager Carlo Ancelotti, who is prepared to discuss a short-term deal with the player he knows well from his spell in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Ancelotti fears losing Fabio Coentrao next month and sees Cole as an ideal replacement.
