Real Madrid to make opening offer for Gremio midfielder Mario Fernandes

Real Madrid are stepping up their bid for Gremio midfielder Mario Fernandes.

Gremio chiefs, along with Fernandes' agent, have confirmed the interest of Real in the past week.

And Marca says Real are prepared to make a €15 million offer for the young midfielder in January.

For their part, Gremio rate Fernandes closer to €25 million.
