Real Madrid to make final offer for £33m-rated Man United star

Real Madrid are ready to make their final offer in their efforts to sign Manchester United star David De Gea ahead of deadline day, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The 24-year-old was one of the squad’s key performers over the past few seasons, but has now lost his regular role to summer arrival Sergio Romero.

De Gea was snubbed by manager Louis van Gaal amid claims that he was trying to push a switch to Madrid and is now being forced to watch from the stands.

Despite ongoing talks over his potential move, the two clubs are unable to reach an agreement over his fee as the La Liga giants are unwilling to meet his £33million valuation.

The Spain international only has a year left on his current deal at Old Trafford as Real are hoping to sign him in a cut-price deal this summer before he will eventually be allowed to leave for free next term.
