Real Madrid to launch own sports University

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is pushing ahead with plans for the club's own University.

Perez wants to create a Real Madrid University offering courses in all matters connected to football, from sports science and medicine, to economic management of clubs and technical coaching.

The plan is to make the Real Madrid University the home of football education in Europe, where the brightest minds will flock to gain qualifications.

Perez is already looking for a suitable site to base the University in and around Madrid.
