Real Madrid to include a Diarra in bid for AC Milan defender Thiago Silva

Real Madrid are prepared to include players in their bid for AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.

The Brazil international's agent, Paulo Tonietto, has confirmed Real's interest and that his client is a personal transfer target for Jose Mourinho.

AS says Milan's lack of spending power and need for a new defensive midfielder is playing into Real's hands.

Milan want €30 million for Silva and Real hope to drive down the asking price by including either Mahamadou Diarra or Lassana Diarra in their offer.
