Real Madrid to bid for Arsenal's Vieira, Man Utd ace Giggs

Real Madrid are being linked with Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira and Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs.

The Daily Mail says with David Beckham now a forgotten option in Madrid's summer plans, they have now turned their attentions to signing both Vieira and Giggs and are preparing to make bids in the coming weeks.

The Frenchman has been a long-term target for the European champions and has claimed that he would consider a move to the Santiago Bernabeu very carefully.

In contrast, Giggs remains intent on staying with the Old Trafford club, however any serious offer received could result in the Red Devils cashing in on their Welsh wizard.
