Real Madrid to approach Juventus for Emerson

Real Madrid will approach Juventus for midfielder Emerson before the end of the season.

The Brazil international chose Juve over Real Madrid last summer as he departed AS Roma, but Real chiefs have received information suggesting the midfielder is unsettled in Italy.

Emerson's family home has been targeted by thugs this season and Real are hoping to lure him to Spain when the summer transfer window opens.

If Emerson, 29, refuses their offer, Real will turn to a younger alternatives with Liverpool's Alou Diarra and Lyon ace Mickael Essien both in their sights.
