Real Madrid tells Man Utd's Ruud: Name your price

Real Madrid have told Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy to name his price.

The Sun says he can earn at least £120,000 a week by moving to Spain. Van Nistelrooy currently picks up £90,000 a week but Madrid would lift his wages to £6million a year. The transfer fee would also be at least £30m.

United have already told Real they are not interested in selling.

Real have been alerted to Van Nistelrooy's potential availability after the Dutchman had a fall-out with boss Alex Ferguson prior to the League match against Fulham at the end of February.
