Real Madrid tell Spurs they want to pay Bale fee in five installments

Real Madrid want to pay their transfer fee over five installments to Tottenham for Gareth Bale.

Once a transfer fee has been agreed, close to €100m, the clubs will attempt to agree payment terms, reports Marca.

Real Madrid wants to pay €100m in five installments. In addition, it has made it clear that the first payment will be no more than €25m.

That won't please Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who wants the cash up front so to reinvestment in the remaining weeks of the summer market.
