Real Madrid tell Chelsea: £30M for Beckham

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez will demand £30 million for midfielder David Beckham at the end of the season.

Perez is up for re-election in the summer and is prepared to tell supporters that he will cash in on the England skipper, says The Sun.

Chelsea want to buy Beckham, but chief executive Peter Kenyon reckons he can force the price down by £10m to £20m as they are the only Premiership club in the running.
