Real Madrid tell AC Milan: £8M for Solari

Real Madrid have told AC Milan chiefs that they can sign midfielder Santiago Solari for £8 million.

The Argentina international almost joined Inter Milan two seasons ago as part of Ronaldo's move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Milan chiefs Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani rate Solari highly and are considering the 28 year-old as a replacement for Brazilian veteran Serginho.

Milan have made an initial offer of £4 million for the Real midfielder.
