Real Madrid target Robinho more spectacular than Pele

The junior coach of Santos attacker Robinho says the youngster can genuinely be compared with Pele.

With Robinho on the verge of an agreement with Real Madrid, his former coach, Izildo Pereira, said: "Robinho has as much ability with the ball as Pelé had."

"But I do not believe that he can obtain the numbers of Pelé because today football is different from 50 and 60 years ago."

"Robinho is a more spectacular player than Pelé. It is the moment for him to go to Europe."

"I even believe that he should go now. He will play a great role in Madrid."
