Real Madrid target on Van Nistelrooy: I'll stay at Man Utd for 4 years

Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy says he has four years left in the game.

And the Dutchman has dismissed reports that he will join Real Madrid: "When I stop playing, I will quit the game for good and never come back into football. I never want to be a manager."

"I think I have a lovely life but when I stop that will be it."

"I used to think that after my time at Manchester United I'd have a couple more years back home in Holland with PSV Eindhoven again. But I don't think like that any more."

"I watch Dutch games on TV and the public are very negative. They used to shout things at me like "son of a whore" and I don't want to hear that."

"I hate that mentality and that is the reason it will be all over in 2008. I finish my career in Manchester."
