Real Madrid target Juventus striker

Juventus striker Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move back to Real Madrid next summer.

The 22-year-old arrived in Turin in July 2014 from the Spanish giants for a fee in the region of €20 million, although Los Blancos inserted a buy-back clause of €30m they can exercise at the end of either the 2015/16 season or the 2016/17 season.

According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, the 2014 Champions League winners will try to tempt the forward back to Madrid at the end of the current season, with any deal dependent on Morata’s willingness to return to La Liga.

Morata made a total of 42 appearances in all competitions for Juventus last season, scoring 13 goals, including two against Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final, and also found the net in Berlin during the defeat to Barcelona in the final.
