Real Madrid target Carvalho to demand Chelsea transfer today

Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho is expected to ask for a transfer to Real Madrid today.

AS says Carvalho will report for preseason training this morning and immediately go into talks with Blues management about a move away.

The Portugal veteran declared over the weekend his desire to join Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

Carvalho is said to already have an agreement with Chelsea that he would be allowed to leave this summer if the right club came along.
