Real Madrid supremo in Joaquin talks

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was spotted in conversation with Betis ace Joaquin after Saturday's 1-1 draw.

Winger Joaquin has been a long-term target for Perez and AS says the Real supremo joked with the Spanish international: "We'll have to see when you come and join us."

Perez sees the youngster as a successor to Luis Figo on the right-side of Real's midfield and the fact that no new contract offer has been made to the Portuguese veteran suggests Real are preparing a change.
