Real Madrid striker Soldado delighted with Getafe move

Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado is happy with his move to Getafe.

Soldado confirmed the agreement yesterday, declaring: "My family has been able to enjoy seeing me play for Real Madrid, which was what I had dreamed about since childhood."

"Now I start another new challenge in Getafe where I hope to learn a lot from the people that are there. I go there with humility and above all, with the intention of doing a good job and being the best I can possibly be."

He added: "I thank Getafe president Angel Torres for the effort he has made and the confidence he has placed in me. I plan to repay that confidence with goals."
