Real Madrid striker Benzema wants to prove himself to Mourinho

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is determined to play his way into Jose Mourinho's plans.

He has often been linked with moves to other clubs such as Manchester United, however club officials have insisted that they have no intention of selling him.

"I am working hard to earn more playing time. Once I play people will see what I am capable of. I am sure I will succeed with Real Madrid. I don't have a single doubt," he said.

"I have the mindset to play here. If I have to defend and run, I will. That is fine."
