Real Madrid strike deal with Roma striker Cassano

Real Madrid have struck an agreement over personal terms with Roma striker Antonio Cassano.

The Italy international's agent, Beppe Bozzo, gave his nod to the contract tabled by Real representatives before Christmas and Cassano agreed to the deal this week. The signing has also been approved by new Real sports director Benito Floro.

Real Madrid and Roma are still to thrash out a transfer fee, with the Italians insisting on £5 million, while Real have so far offered £2.7 million.
