Real Madrid stars angry with ref after Valencia shock

Real Madrid's stars were incensed by ref Daudén Ibáñez's performance in Sunday's 2-1 home defeat by Valencia.
 
"It's best I do not talk about the referee," said midfielder Pablo Garcia, "because I'll just end up in trouble."

"He wanted to impose himself on the game immediately, which is why I was booked after ten seconds. From then on I had to be careful when tackling, it was very difficult to play with that hanging over me."

Real defender Sergio Ramos, who gave away a penalty, said: "The referees are people and can make mistakes."

Robinho was more concise, saying: "The referee did not have a good day."
